Winter Wonderland

Even winter is beautiful in the foothills. We had four inches of soft snow last night so I went around taking photos of the neighborhood.

Autumn trails

On the lot for sale are some lovely trails through the forests and meadows. Here are a few scenes from last week (early October 2011) and a basket of rose hips I picked, to make rose hip syrup and tea.

For information or a tour of this 86 acres for sale, please phone us at 403-328-8299

Fall is here and the leaves of the aspen trees will begin turning yellow. What bliss. The parcel of land for sale is especially beautiful this time of year. There is a stretch of trail where the Balsam poplar grow and it smells like the balm of Gilead. In fact, the buds of the Balsam poplar provide the ingredient which is in the Balm of Gilead. I will take photos of this tree in due time. Meanwhile, let your eyes feast on this photo.

Here are some of the views from the land for sale. Chief Mountain is prominent since it is only 7 miles away across the Montana border, which is at the south end of the property.
